Ellis Island
Over 40% of the U.S. population descends from the 17 million immigrants that have passed through Ellis Island from 1892 to 1954. The three-story Ellis Island Museum is housed in the same building that the immigrants came through in those 64 years. Ferries leave from Battery Park for the 27-acre island, and often include an option to visit the Statue of Liberty.

Times Square
Those two small words describe a huge experience. Billboards, flashing lights, and throngs of people fill this important city institution. Eat, shop, people watch, and more.

Empire State Building
See the world's most famous skyline from above: Located on the 86th floor, over 3.5 million people every year enjoy a sweeping, panoramic view from 1,050 feet above the streets.
