An Awesome cruise by
Yvonne H from Middletown, De Sailing date: Oct 2009Pros: The friendliness of the crew and the people on the ship. Cons: The only con I have is just getting use to finding the different levels of the ship. My impression of the ship is that it is an excellent ship to vacation on. This was my husbands first cruise and he loved it so much that he is ready to go on another cruise for a longer period and on the same ship. Ship Quality
Dining/Food
Stateroom QualityWe were very pleased with the service of the housekeeping staff and our stateroom, we really enjoyed the animals made from the towels. We had everything we needed and anything missing, for instance a hairdryer was provided upon request. Ship Staff QualityThe staff were willing to let us take pictures with them, answer any questions we had and made us feel at home. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe variety of actitivies and entertainment was excellent, the shows were well preformed and I enjoyed learning how to make the towel animals and the Ice carving.

And the cruise director "Karl" was always on top of his game. Every where you turned was shinny and clean. Ship Quality

Ship Staff QualityAll the staff kept a smile not phony but geniune smiles. Entertainment & Activities

We had a fantastic time! by
Tabitha B from yutan nebraska Sailing date: Sep 2009Pros: Everyone was so very helpful. Cons: It didn't last long enough. My sister and I took our children and our parents on this ship. There were 9 of us total and everyone we talked to was very helpful. My parents had a room steward who was great. My dad is in a wheelchair and blind so there were a few things he wanted to do like sit in a hottub that if someone hadn't lent a hand, we could not have done. My sister and I went on the deluxe sail snorkel and beach tour and would do so again and again. We had a blast. Ship Quality

Ship Staff QualityJoseph our waiter went so far above his duties to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Entertainment & Activities
Children's ProgramsMytwo teens enjoyed their group activities. My preteen loved being in her group. My poor 11 year old wasn't so lucky. She was the oldest of her group and didn't feel the activies were for her. she would have been happier with the preteen group. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

  Carnival Imagination was good by
Kevin H. from Waco, TX Sailing date: Sep 2009Pros: The rooms were nice and well designed. The workers were friendly and helpful! My cabin steward, Rito, did a fantastic job! The ship was kept very clean! Cons: The food was fine, but nothing to write home about. The excursion we purchased for $80 a piece in Cozumel was awful (and I don't complain). It should even be offered through the ship. The ship was "chopped up" in design, as numerous people stated. My wife and I took this cruise as a little getaway to rest and had a great time, for the most part. The ship's personnel were friendly and helpful, except for the one photographer who told me to fix my hair before the picture was to be taken. I wear my hair messy on purpose. Great call!
I would be willing to go on this ship again. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodThe food is not bad, but it's nothing to write home about. The selection is decent. The problem is that they have to prepare such a large volume of meals that it's not possible to have th ebest quality. Stateroom Quality

  Fantastic Cruise by
Joanne A from Boston,MA Sailing date: Aug 2009Pros: The FUN Ship Cons: needs a little more organization Great cruise for the money. Could use more workers. The childrens room was great. They could use beepers for the parents in case their children want to come out early or if something happens. Very friendly staff. Dining/FoodDaniela our waitress was terrific. She was very good with the kids Stateroom QualityVery clean Ship Staff Quality
Entertainment & ActivitiesGood shows suitable for all ages Children's ProgramsBoys loved it. They even ate dinner there

  good ship by
A Traveler from North carolina Sailing date: Jul 2009Pros: Shows were of good quality. Food was great Cons: Had a sloppy waiter until we complained and he was replaced by another waiter. ship was great. Would highly reccommend for a first time or return cruiser. It will give you a good sense of the cruising experience. (this was my 3rd) Our stateroom was kept clean and the food was very good. Productions were good. Cruise director was energetic but talked a little too much sometimes. Never met captain. On another cruiseline, the captain walked thru the dining hall and mingled on formal night. Food was good but desserts limited. No baked alaska here.
Pool and slide are great. Don't get a spa massage though. Paid for 75 minute massage and got 55. rest of time I laid in dark followed by a sales pitch.
Ship QualityNot a new ship but was well kept up and managed. Crew was constantly cleaning. Dining/FoodOn previous cruises, waiter devised a chart and addressed us by last name. Learned what we had an likeness for (soda, no ice for instance) not so with this staff. A little disappointed. Stateroom Qualityfairly large stateroom compared to another cruiseline. Even the windows were larger. Good size closet/storage space. Ship Staff QualityFair freindliness. No one addressed me by my name but once, even when it was in front of them. It is true people love to hear their name. Entertainment & Activities

Cozumel, Mexicoruins at Tulum; Playa Mia beach. Both excellent choices.
Don't Miss: Beaches. White sand clear, did i say clear water. You can see your toes. Key West, Florida is a waste of your $12. Keep moving. Glass bottom boat require you to stand the whole while. Don't go if you are prone to seasickness.
Don't Miss: take the conch train tour to get away from tourist streets and see the city. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  GREAT Cruise! by
Indy 7 from Indianapolis, IN Sailing date: Jun 2009Pros: Activities for everyone in the family! Cons: Only one pool. There were activities for everyone in the family both day and night. My kids loved Camp Carnival...they did not want to leave. My teenagers found friends and activities to keep them busy and out of trouble. My husband and I loved the piano bar. The nightly shows were great. I am planning on taking the family on another cruise next year. Ship QualityThe ship was very clean. I would pick a ship next time with multiple pools. This ship only had one pool which was very crowded. Dining/FoodFood was awesome. There was something for everyone's tastes. My kids ate ice cream with breakfast, lunch and dinner...it was a great vacation. Ship Staff QualityThe staff of the ship was excellent. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe comedy acts were my favorite. Children's ProgramsI would recommend this cruise to anyone with children. They keep them busy with activities.

  Good first time cruise by
Bo C from New Haven CT Sailing date: May 2009Pros: Prompt service Cons: average food Overall, good for first time cruisers. Plenty of things to do or just relax by one of the many lounging areas and watch the scenery. Staff are friendly and prompt. Food is okay, not spectacular. Ship Quality
Dining/Foodrestaurants, sevice, and variety are excellent, but the quality is about average. There are a few very delisious things but most are average. The flat steak is overdone and bland, but the chocolate cake is superb. Stateroom QualityLove the towel animals Ship Staff Quality

  A Different Experience by
brandy b from Lees Summit, MO Sailing date: May 2009Pros: The Bahamas Cons: information and customer service I thought it looked wonderful. This was my first cruise and when we booked the cruise online we thought we covered everything. After stepping on cruise I had a very hard time figuring things out. I feel there should be more information for first time cruisers. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodThere was alot of food howver we didnt know hours of meal times, that the food was included, etc. Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff QualityThere was so many employees that spoke minimal English that it made it difficult to ask questions and understand them. Very dissatisfying.

Nassau, BahamasI had a wonderful time. We had carefully booked shore excursions from home. The computer wuld not let us book things if we had a shortage of time. We thought we had it all planned. Then come to find out the had moved the times of one of out tours then we couldnt make the other so we had to cancel the tour to make the other. Then we ended up with a five hour window with nothing to do. We we're very unhappy.
