  Loved this ship! by
A Traveler from Smithfield, RI Sailing date: Dec 2008Pros: Beautiful ship, wonderful service, respectful crew, great food. Cons: Change of itinery. The Miracle is a beautiful ship. The crew was constantly cleaning everything from top to bottom. No dust or dirt here! We never felt confined. Our balcony rooms were roomy
and always immaculate. The service was as wonderful as the food. Anyone who
found fault with the dining room food or the buffet should just stay home. We went to
all the shows and enjoyed them. We are booking another cruise on the Miracle for next
year.
Ship QualityThe crew cleaned the ship from top to bottom every day. Very convenient layout.
Beautiful theme. Loved the size of the ship. Smooth sailing all 8 days. Wonderful. Dining/FoodThe most delicious foods all 4 of us have had. Immaculate dining room. Polite, respectful
waiters who knew our names. Early dining was perfect for us. We lunched at the great
deli every day. Such a variety! Hard to make choices! Excellent desserts. Stateroom QualityImmaculate, roomy and bright balcony room. The towel animals were so cute. It is
funny to see a monkey hanging on the bureau and a bird on the window. Great location in the middle of the ship. We did not have to walk a great distance for anything. Ship Staff QualityRoom steward was wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. Very sweet young woman.
Waiter aimed to please. You will be lucky to have Waylon serve you. Entertainment & ActivitiesThere was much to do for any age. With our hectic lifesyles, we preferred to sit by
the pool sipping drinks and relaxing. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

  changed our itinerary by
A Traveler from Western PA Sailing date: Dec 2008Pros: We enjoyed the evening entertainment. Food was good but not fantastic. Cons: Our itinerary was changed at last minute. The band that played poolside daily was awful.Drinks that were included free were very limited and watered down. ie juice, lemonade, iced tea. Coffee was too strong. Ship was nice, room was very nice. Cruise itself was only fair. You had to pay extra for Starbucks coffee bar, to dine in speciality dining....so we passed on that.
We were given a $25/per person shipboard credit because of the itinerary change. This in no way compensated for the changes in the itinerary. We specifically booked this cruise to see the Panama canal and Costa Rica which we did not get to see. Ship Quality

My WORST cruise experience EVER!!!! by
Darlene G. from Reading, PA Sailing date: Aug 2008Pros: our cabin steward was very friendly and knew us by name Cons: where can I start? The ship - the crew - the food - the destinations The ship was old, dirty and ran rough on the water. The captain informed us that the ship's engine's weren't running up to capacity. The ONLY entertainment was Karaoke, Bingo that you had to pay for, and a comedian the last night. The food was boring and lousy. My WORST vacation EVER! Ship QualityDeck 9 where the food is, always smelled like garbage was sitting next to you. The ship was old, dirty and ran rough on the water. The rest rooms weren't easy to find. Dining/FoodSame ol same ol. Pizza wasn't flavorful, the dining rooms food was boring and lacked variety. It tasted like a bad TV dinner. Stateroom QualityNothing bad to say about the room or the staff that cleaned it. Ship Staff QualityWe didn't have too many staff members act as though they wanted to help with anything except "Big Sexy" the assistant cruise director! The rest of the staff seemed as though it was a chore to assist you. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe ONLY entertainment was Karaoke, Bingo that you had to pay for, and a comedian the last night.

Grand Turk IslandtHE HURRICANE Hanna prevented us from going here so the ship decided to "compensate" by taking us to Newport Rhoad Island. There was NOTHING to do there! Nothing! Who in the world cruises to Rhoad Island?

Don't Miss: Walmart! Charlotte Amalie, St. ThomastHE HURRICANE Hanna prevented us from going here so the ship decided to "compensate" by taking us to Freeport Bahamas which was the dirtiest island I have ever seen. The beach was dirty - the water wasn't c;ean and clear - you couldn't see your feet in the water. VERY VERY DIRTY!
Don't Miss: The dirty filthy beach! 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

A Very Good Cruise Experience by
Gary K. from CT Sailing date: Aug 2008Pros: Dining Cons: Shore Excusions Ship was very nice and did not feel crowded. Staff and crew were very friendly, helpfui and attentive. Food was good and plentiful. Cabin (inside) was adequate for four, but somewhat tight. Carnival does a good job overall, and tries hard to please, which they do. Ship Quality

Grand Turk IslandGood beach right by boat. Water a bit gunky with seaweed. Nice heated pool, not deep and free to Carnival passengers.
San Juan, Puerto RicoTook the "2-hour" San Juan Nightlife Tour. It is really only one-hour with one hour for shopping. Drop you off only 5 minute walk from ship. It was a good intro to San Juan but understand it is really only about an hour long.
Charlotte Amalie, St. ThomasTook the excurision to Magan's Bay. Beautiful beach and water. It rained for a bit which complicated things somewhat but not that bad.
Don't Miss: Magan's Bay 1 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

disabled and no fun on ship by
diane r from fall river ma Sailing date: May 2008Pros: food Cons: bad weather and people vomiting all over ship ship was clean, but we hit rough water and all of ours shows were cancelled and never put on again, what a shame we had to look forwards to needlpoint and scrap booking. the pools closed to early at night 10 pm and you had to get out. Lots of people were very sick and we were rocking all over the ship. Ship Qualityneed better maps of ship and rooms Dining/Foodfood was all ways good and different Stateroom Qualitywe loved our room with a balacony and the views were great when we hit land again Ship Staff QualityNewborn was the greatest in keeping our room clean and going above and beyond in making the towel animals for me and my daughter.
Haniana and Jussara were great in the dinning room and made us laugh every night we loved them and we are going to miss them lots. We had no luck with the pursers office and the execursion desk . We traveled with our disable daughter, we will never go again we could not go on any excursions cause for they were not handicapp accesialbe. the ones we could go on were SHOPPING we can do that here at home. ANd trying to disembark was soo not organized at all. will never cruise with them again, not a cruise ship for the disabled. Entertainment & Activitiesshows cancelled and it seemed they forgot about parents who had kids and really couldn't go to the midnight shows.l Children's Programsonly wish that they had someone who could watch over kids with special needs. 4 out of 5 people found this review helpful.

Rachelle E from Illinois Sailing date: Dec 2007Pros: crew was incredible/fabulous food in DR & Nick & Noras Cons: motion on day at sea - bad weather We were impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of the Miracle.
The crew went above and beyond to make our vacation absolutely perfect.
Dining room staff and those in Nick & Nora's might be the main reason I will sail again and again! WOW! Made my birthday cruise extra special.
Enjoyed the ports too.. Hopefully, Costa Maya will be back on the itinerary..we were so lucky to visit before the hurricane.
